Hi folks! As you can see, there are a couple of new pics up in the album, after our latest visit behind the barbwire. Didde is ok. He is sending hi's best regards, especially to those who have been writing him letters. By doing it you guys help him thru this difficult and depressing period in his life. "I have received letters and greetings from Russia, Finland, Germany, Norway and Sweden. I am very happy that so many old friends and fans of The Pushers are connecting me. I'll never forget you" Didde says. In addition, The Pushers can announce that two old members rejoined the band again: Magnus Hjort on guitar and Per Gradén on bass. A bunch of brand new songs is ready for our forth-coming album and more material will be completed later. We visit Didde in prison, and rehearse on acoustic guitars, as often it is possible. Also two new songs, "chasing ghosts" and "who we are" soon will be up on The Pushers My Space-page, so keep your eyes and ears open!

Didde is serving 4 years in prison.
The Pushers lead singer and bass player was convicted to 4 years in prison after a knife incident during a fight in Stockholm city last year.
Didde says: "It was very, very stupid; I was a fucking idiot! Fortunately the guy survived and that is all that matters. I think we all are animals inside and react as animals when situations where we feel threatened and afraid come up. I don't say I did the right thing, absolutely not, however when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, stupid things like this happen. In a fight everybody is losers and I thank God nobody died that night"
A week before the tragic night, Didde and a friend watched Sex Pistols at a concert in London and back at the airport parking in Sweden Didde found the knife used at his work in his car and put it in his jacket. "I saw the knife in the car, and since I need it at work I pocketed it to put it in my working-clothes again. Sadly I did not remember to move it to my working wear when I got changed, and that's the reason I was wearing the knife that awful bloody night…"

Didde will get out of prison in July 2010. The Pushers announce that they are still going strong, and they will do a couple of "on parole shows" in Sweden in July - August 2010. The band is also going to record their first full-length album that same year.
